In English:

The reindeer herder’s plank is made of fine-grained mountain pine.

”Kiellaan” The lassolock (aka. lock) is implanted with the silver shaman bear known from ”Tapio” jewelry.

The shaman bear is hung inside the rope opening of ”Kiela”. The shaman bear motif appeared in the 19th century, the only symbol found in a shaman’s drum (Archaeologist Ernst Manker)

”Kiella” is a replica of a lasso trap, made by Inari reindeer herder Martti Tervaniemi and its lock, like the one I have.

The plank can be placed on a table or wall. It is waxed with fine wood wax.

The key/lock is made of reindeer antler and the cords are reindeer skin.

Reindeer’s stilt brings good luck to its owner. The bear symbol guarantees it.

Pölky comes with a certificate of the authenticity of the bear bone necklace and a LUKE serial number certificate. (LUKE= Natural Resources Center)
